As the CEO of Qatar Business Events Corporation (QBEC-DECC), Mr. Vicente is at the forefront of transforming Qatar into a premier global hub for business events. Prior to this role, he held prominent executive positions. These include Managing Director at Aragón Exterior, CEO of Shanghai Greenland Fira Barcelona Exhibition Co. Ltd., and Managing Director of Feria de Zaragoza.
During his time at Feria de Zaragoza, he also served as a MICE Consultant at Encercle business solutions (EBS). Additionally, he was the Chief Executive Officer of the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), a joint venture between Fira Barcelona and Elan Group.
Throughout his career, he has spearheaded large-scale projects, optimized operational frameworks, and delivered exceptional results in business development, event management, and profit optimization. Mr. Vicente is a recognized leader in the business events sector. He has served as President of the Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Qatar and led prominent Spanish trade fair associations, including AFE and AFA.
