Visa On Arrival

Nationals of eligible countries (including the US, UK and the Schengen region) do not require any prior visa arrangements and can obtain a visa waiver upon arrival to Qatar, by presenting a valid passport with a minimum validity of six months and a confirmed onward or return ticket.

For all other nationalities not eligible for a Visa On Arrival, a visa online can be obtained using the new Hayya platform. It's a simple 4-step process that takes just a few minutes.

Health Insurance

Travellers entering the State of Qatar for stay longer than 30 days are required to obtain health insurance with any insurance company that is registered with the Ministry of Public Health.

For a stay that is less than 30 days, the health insurance is strongly suggested but not mandatory. 

COVID-19

As of November 1, 2022, travellers visiting the State of Qatar do not require to take a PCR or Rapid Antigen Test.
