Head of MICE, Sport and E-Sport

Biography:: Lindsay is a highly accomplished business development and marketing strategist with over 20 years of experience in the business events and tourism sector. She has spent the majority of her career in the GCC and has a deep understanding of local market dynamics.

At Qatar Tourism, Lindsay leads Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions (MICE), Sport and eSport, working with executive management and stakeholders to position Qatar as a prime destination for major events. Prior to her role at Qatar Tourism, Lindsay worked in Abu Dhabi where she played an integral part in the development of the business events industry in the emirate. She has also led sales and business development activities within the Emirates Group, gaining valuable event and tourism operational experience.

Lindsay began her career in New York, USA where she developed strategies to support global business events and tourism destinations to manage campaigns and business development activity within the North American market.

Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and has completed a host of training and certificate programmes in business, leadership, project management, and strategy.
